Light Cycles from seedling to plant...
I have jus germinated 5 seedling of northern lights skunk...its day 4 and i keep a 400 watt grow light about 1 and a half foot away in a small cabinet...i keep the light on to about 18 hours,(is this correct?) when should i change this cycle and what do i change it too?:rastasmoke::rastasmoke:

you would leave it on 18/6 for several weeks usually 4-6 weeks and then switch to 12/12.
if you are growing in a cabinet you may need to switch to 12/12 sooner depending on how much room you have to work with as most plants can double in size when you switch to 12/12 and you do not want to overgrow your space.
you can probably get the 400 within 7-10 inches of the tops of the plants and you may want to lower it in about a week.

If you want, 24/0 is good through veg.
The only benefits to a dark period that I know of during veg. is a little extra root growth. Personally I keep mine on a strange schedule 72/6

I would keep them on normal days that add up to 24 hours before cycling again. 72/6 seems pretty darn unnatural, even by indoor growing standards, and even though I've never had experience with a weird schedule like that, I'd avoid it big time for the risk of stressin'.
