Draw lines to locate your holes, then check and double check to make sure everything is lined up just right before you drill. There's little room for error. The door that receives the lock throw should have slide locks top and bottom inside. Otherwise, the door can be forced open quite easily.
Hope this helps.

PharmaCan - I ran into that exact problem when I installed a key lock on my cabinet - the door could still be forced open quite easily as you said. How would you go about installing these "slide locks"? I am a little confused as to what you are talking about........
Thanks a bunch, hopefully we will all get our gardens locked up nice and tight!
Thanks!
GD.. I think he is talking about something like ]this.
Hmmmm that only led me to a page that said image unavailable, click here to close. But thanks man, I think Im gonna google it and see what happens........
Easiest way is a decorative brass hasp and padlock. Hard to screw up the install. They have them at home dePOT in the cabinet hardware aisle.
For some reason I can't post photos on this thread... or anywhere in Growroom Setup for that matter.
I started a thread in Basic Growing - Lock photo for EK & GD. You can see what I mean there.
