nutrient burn

i've been trying to search in the forums for good ways to identify nutrient burn, but to no avail. i don't think i've burned mine yet, but i have a feeling that i will soon, as i am still working on a good balance of nutes and water. i was just curious if anyone had any good pictures or good advice on identifying it, because i don't wanna have that happen and think it needs more of a certain nute and kill my plant. thanks.
