Bush logic

In my street lives a guy who has prior convictions for aggravated burglary.
This man is a potential threat to me and my home even though he wants nothing to do with me.
I fear he may attemt to burgle my home .
Based on this fear I choose to blow his fucking thieving brains out.
By Bush's logic even if it was found that the guy was no real threat I would still be justified in wasting him.
In reality if I did shoot the burglar I would most likely find myself with a new residence and lots of time to think! All at the care of the state....



I posted this earlier and I was wondering if anyone knows of someone they would like to see Bush's logic used on ??.
Alternatively you could also suggest other examples that fit the criteria???

is this a hypothetical situation or real life? i think you should invite him over and THEN waste him. make sure he steps inside your house.. but invite him in a way that its not clear what you are doing.. or something. *shrugs* i just remember watching an episode of the simpsons where homer invited ned into his house and got to hurt him because ned came into his home.. OR SOMETHING. i have no idea.

no it only works if u dont invite them in...if they just walk in then u can do what u want...within reason i guess...(according to the sompsons)

Yes it is purely hypothetical.

The point is if I thought like Bush then I would be exonerated from blame because the guy could be seen as "a potential threat" and my actions would be seen as a "pre-emptive strike" for the good of mankind.

i caught the sarcastic shot at bush. your analogy was pretty much on the money ;] i was just thinking.. it would suck to live that close to a burglar.. burgerler.erlewhatever.

He seems to think that abuse of power is justified simply because he's the president. How's that for bush logic? And you know what? Nobody's ever gonna say anything to change it. Wether we like it or not, we missed our chance to do something about Bush and his self-serving logic.
