Temperature question
I have a cabinet the size is 2foot by 2foot by 3foot I have 8 cfls in there 4 5000k and 4 6500k I have a small intake fan I donā??t know the cfm on that fan, then I have an inline booster fan with cfm of 240 as an exhaust. My temps are at 88 to 89.9 I was wondering if that would be ok for the plants? What would be the effect on them at a temperature like that? Also what would be a good way to lower the temp (another intake or exhaust)? Also which cfls should I have directly over the plants and which ones should I have on the sides if it mattersā?¦..? I will be trying SCROG if that matters maybe 2 to 4 plants(your thoughts?)....Thanks for the help in advanceā?¦

Temperature question
wow thats surprising that the cfls are causing your room to get to almost 90!!! damn you must live in the desert or something... im pretty sure (not positive) that heat like that will cause slow growth and wispy buds....and if you dont have a/c or somethin the only thing you can do is add more fans and hope that helps....
my buddys got a growtub with 8 cfls and only a computer fan on top and temps are lower 70's....so i dont think its the cfls, its your location...

Temperature question
My house stay at a 69 to 78 degrees during the day and at night it 72 to 64 so I donā??t think itā??s the location. The cfls get hot to the touch and are the only thing in there that heats up. I bought 4 from Wal-Mart and 4 from a grow shop on ebay if that matters. I'm going to do some tweaking on the fans and try again in a few days to see if I can lower the temps. With the lights off and the box just setting there the temps are 70.9 with nothing on at all.

Temperature question
More fans or cooler light.

Temperature question
i think exhaust would help the temps more than intake, and some sort of fan inside blowing on the lights.
