i was wondering if anyone knew how long it took a plant to process urea (i.e. piss) and get the nitrogen from it.

Nitrogen in Urea is very available.
TOO available really for use as fertilizer unless you REALLY know what you are doing... and even then, only a very few people would recommend using piss as fertilizer... I'm NOT one of them.
You want high N without the risk of burning your plants and having to piss in them (why oh why does this keep coming up, don't pee in your plants please!), use fish emulsion.
i only piss near my plants to keep the deer away, and irish spring(generic)
as an example, 'SuperThrive', (the highly-over-rated additive :D), is urea-based, and it is usually dosed only a couple drops per gallon ... gives you an idea of how potent it can be ... :smokin:
couple drops, huh? damn that's pretty potent.
yeah, somebody must have been drinkin' some serious stuff, to make piss like that ... :S2:
lol.
