from what ive seen, the general consensus is 9-12 inches between plants.
I've heard about one square foot per plant. I think you could fit two in there, just be aware of your height issue (3ft). And keep in mind your pots will have to fit in that too.
you could probably do 2 plants in that space but if starting from seed you would need to top early and possibly do some pruning so you still have room to finish them. but one plant could just as easily fill that space if you decided to remove one you may end up with a male that needs to be removed anyway.
if using clones 2 plants shouldnt be much of a problem if you flower early.
I would veg 3 and pull the best female and lst scrog the hell out of it. Probley yield more then have two cramped plants. What kind of lights you going to be using?
all Ive got now is 3 indoor at night under 3 26 watt CFLs in a 6"x18"x22" rubbermaid lined w foil paper (mylar)? But Ill move to hps later.
Thanx
ONE square foot per plant MINIMUM for a conventional grow :smokin:
how early can you/should you top plants in a small space? a month old?
wait until you have at least 4 sets of branches, before topping ... I've done it earlier with no problems, but it is safer to wait awhile ... :smokin:
