I don't "hold" my breath, I just keep attempting to inhale, even when my lungs are full. For some reason, it feels like it's doing more. Something I also do is a quiet pant (like a dog, but so you can't hear it) when my lungs are full, it feels like the smoke is moving around more, and getting more thc to "stick". it all sounds silly but it seems to work better than plain old holding your breath.
My buddy can hold his breath for about a minute and a half tho, it's pretty funny to see him walk around my house and come back a while later to just blow a bunch of smoke out.
usually anything more than 5 imo is just pointless.
though sometimes i do a ghost hit and that can fuck me up.
personally i like to take a few massive hits and then stand up and exhale immediately and it fucks you up pretty well hah.
oh yeah.. I love takeing like three massive heaves of smoke in one drag..sometimes I'll feel like my lungs gonna bust, but Im good at holding my coughs.. so I hold those big ones for a couple seconds.. I dont count in my head or anything.. you know it's just second nature to me.. even when Im having a conversation.. I'll take a hit hold it for a bit.. and if Im talking I'll talk while the smoke is in my lungs so it comes out slowly and I feel the weed creepin on me when I take hits like that.. or when I stand up after being high as fuck.. then the headrush makes you blackout lmao it's all good here
when i rip a bong i hold the smoke in for a real long time until i feel dizzy then i blow it out, it kind of adds to the high idk its weird
i only hold hits in a long time if im low on weed
i have a vaporizer and i hold that in for as long as i can with it, seems to work better.
i don't hold it in too long but i always take like as big a breath as i can once i'm done hitting whatever it is so it like pack the smoke in my lungs.
97% of the thc contained in the smoke (reguardless of peice) is absorbed by your lungs within 3 seconds....
it's pointless... just does more damage to your lungs... and any 'stronger effect' you recieve is purely lack of oxygen and has nothing to do with holding it in...
to give you an idea in numbers of how much 'thc' might be wasted by letting hte hit go after 97% absorbtion.... it'd take roughly 33 hits holding in til 100% absorbtion (which i'm pretty sure is impossible) just to equal one normal hit..
you're not really wasting anything, but your lungs by holding it in... after 33 hits, do you really think that one single cumulitave hit you've gained by holding it in forever is really all that much?
:thumbsup: just let it go man, for your own health... just cuz you smoke, doesn't mean you don't need to completely disregaurd your lungs... be good to them and they'll last you a bit longer..
