I was curious if there was a personal messenger on this forum?
I read (or thought I read) somewhere in the rules that we can't leave our e-mail address on the forum here. And I couldn't find anything on the forum anywhere to send a message.
What is the proper way of getting in touch with someone you have met on the forum here?
no emails in sigs.... there are V cards (under user control options) where you can publicly list your email... all you have to do to get someoen's vcard is go to their profile...
and no, there never will be a PM-ing system, because people would use it for hook ups and such...
it says download VCard but you don't actualy have to save it... just click on download and then when window's prompts you, click open...
You CAN leave your email address here if you want but you just have to remember that once you leave it on the website it is viewable by the whole world and you wont be able to ask for it to be removed.
Who is it that you need to get in touch with, if its one of the mod's most of them have their emails in the signature, but if not then you can simply ask them or whoever it is you want to get in contact with, sometimes people will leave ways to get in contact with them in their profile.
There isnt a personal messaging system on the forum, thats what msn and yahoo etc are for but we do have a chatroom here..
