Vaping tobacco and a word of thanks

Not sure if this should go here or in Medical, I figured I'd get a faster response in here though. :jointsmile:

A friend of mine is moving into a new house with her fiancee in a few weeks. Since she smokes (cigarettes) and he doesn't, I figured it would be nice to do them both a favor and get her a Vaporgenie - she gets a healthier smoke (and presumably saves money when she buys tobacco in bulk), and he doesn't have to smell her reek. What I want to know is if you are addicted to cigarettes, do you get your fix from vaping or does it have to be smoked? I haven't been able to find any really definitive answers, so I'm hoping you guys can help!

Oh, and I told my mum I smoke on Tuesday. At first she kind of freaked out about it, but thanks to all the great information I've learned about marijuana thanks to you, my fellow cannabis.com-ers, I managed to talk her around to seeing it in the light of the truth. Thank you very much to everyone here - and keep on toking!

It's a nice gesture, but I doubt that many cigarette smokers would use a vaporizing device for cutting down on tobacco. If they did, we'd have heard about it.

I don't know if it helps cut down on usage, but it would certainly cut down on her tar intake. And yes, I've asked her to quit and she's tried a few times without luck. :(

I used to smoke 3 packs of cigarettes a day. About 15 years ago, I went for acupuncture treatment, and never smoked another cigarette again. Maybe you can buy her a session with an acupuncturist, or convince her to give it a try. I use a vapor genie for pot. I find that it's a very relaxing way to indulge, so if they smoke weed it won't go to waste.

i did that with tobacco once, i dont smoke it so it was the worst thing ever, it taste really bad(worse than normal even) when i vaped it
