Anyone own this series on DVD or watched it when it was on HBO. I had only seen a few episodes before this week. My freind lent me the set of DVD's and I've been working ym way through the past couple days. They are REALLY well done, the story and stuff is really gripping, and the recreation is just amazing. I'm about to go watch the third disc.:thumbsup:

I'm a WW2 fan, I loved this series.
i loooooooooove history, and i thought that band of brothers was amazingly awesome - extremely well done. it actually was on the history channel today, i watched part of it!!! i've seen the whole thing a couple of times - once with my dad (he borrowed the dvd set from a friend), and once with my ex boyfriend (he too borrowed the dvd set from a friend)
band of brothers is a great movie, but you have to watch it from beging
to end, to truly understand there true story, GO AIRBOURNE.
I'm into guns and the price on the weapons manufactured around WW2 are insane now... It's like 30 grand for a mint Strumgehwer 44, which is just a typical Assualt Rifle, the first one made a matter of fact.
