gas station

my dad said that when he fills the pump he sometimes sees it jump a couple cents or it starts on like .01 and really its no big deal but theyre makin thousands of dollars from those pennies

i have never noticed that. but if it be true, you make a good point. imagine how many people fill up thier tanks per day.

i filled up my tank today and the price was $2.96 a gallon then when i drove by the same gas station like 2 hours later the price was $3.09 a gallon

There are some stations that have their pumps rigged so that the first pull of the trigger can just blow air and then start pumping gas and most people never notice. I heard someone tellin me about it one day and got to thinking there have been a couple of local pumps that have done that...I keep an eye on the rate of the gallons pumped and money pumped...or whatever you wanna call it.

Haven't you ever watched "Office Space", its very similar to the scheme they came up with. Taking away fractions of a fraction of a penny over time will start to add up to a lot of money.

Wow...never thought about it that way.

I say make gas free and just charge to ring the bell...
