Stinky here? Cool
I noticed stinkyattic in this in this forum and was surprised because she calls herself a Masshole. But then I switched the TV on the Rays last night and saw they were getting the shit kicked of of them by her beloved Sox, 13-2 in the 3rd inning, 13-4 final. That shows the difference between the first place team and the last place team. The mods closed that seed request thread she had posted on (why not just delete it?) so I couldn't just quote her, but I wonder stinky, were you following your Sox or do you have some other interest in this hurricane magnet? Maybe tired of that cold and checking out the waters elsewhere?

lol funny you should ask... I poke around the locals boards and saw the seed thread...it BEGGED a reply... and MAN that game was a clobbering. I almost had to stop watching! I was actually surprised that Tuesday's game didn't have the same outcome- the TB pitcher shoudl have been yanked after the 2nd inning when he was throwing all that garbage. But I can't complain, the Yankees are playing like dook and life is looking wonderful!
I'm not tired of the cold in the least, but I AM considering a move soon... to ALASKA... you know Yeag recently moved back up there and hey, what can I say, I like winter, I like fishing, I liked Alaska when I lived there, and I LOVE my cute Alaskan grizzly bear!

Cool! I grew up in the NE and can deal with the cold but I'm just freaking spoiled. I think I'd love Alaska too but that never-ending-daylight thing in the winter would just suck. 24hr dimness would get old real fast.

Yeah, I worked the fishing fleet out of Dutch about 6 years ago and found that the constant light in summer REALLY messed with my sleep patterns, and the constant dark put me in a mood that goes far beyond foul... lol... I blame part of that on also working messed up shifts, like 8 on, 4 off, 8 on, 4 off and so on so that for DAYS straight I would never see sunlight. Or get more than 3-4 hours' sleep at a stretch.
I think having a normal job would really make it easier to handle. Plus I didn't puff back then, and there is nothing I appreciate more about weed than its ability to give me a good solid nights sleep, no matter how sunny it is outside, or how stressed I am.

That boredom thing is a probably the biggest reason I puff now. On tolerance breaks I get real real bored. Man, that rotating shift work schedule really screws you up. I did that for most of the 20 years I forecasted weather for the AF. I never could understand why they stuck to it after it had been scientifically proven to screw people up. I definitely would look at that light therapy thing up in the great white north too.
