hair follicle drug test

Hello everyone

I smoked pot for the first and only time in my life in late September of 06, I smoked a little less then half a gram. Well in about a month, so beginning of August I will be taking a hair follicle drug test, only problem is I don't have enough hair on my head for the test because I usually keep my hair at about 1/4 of an inch so they said they will take it off of my body and for me not to shave my lower body. So I did some reading and found out that pot can be detected in your head hair for about 90 days but a year if not more for body hair, so sense I can't trim every single hair on my body I figured I would try out one of those shampoos I've seen and read about online, I was wondering if anyone could help me out with any suggestions on what shampoo to get or anything at all, BTW they will have a person cut my hair off for me so I can't slip anybody else's hair in, Thank A LOT.

Shampoo won't do anything. The test detects what is in the hair itself.

the shampoos I'm talking about are suppose to "mask" the THC when running the test

inside the hair? how the fuck do you detect somthing inside one's hair follicle? They look at the part under the scalp.

Guy and Dannyboy, if you don't know about hair testing, then why just carry on about it when this guy is worried about his test? All you are doing is adding to his anxiety level and not giving any helpful information.

Dannyboy there are a couple of shampoos that can help reduce THC metabolites in the hair. Problem is some are better than others and to do his legs will probably require several boxes. I like Zydot.

Guy, how do they look under the scalp pray tell? They cut the hair they don't yank it out. Where does hair come from? It grows from your body. If THC metabolites are in your body how do you think it gets in your hair? As the hair grows they get incorporated into the hair from the blood supply. Not a hard concept to understand.

LaDodgersfan, they say you have to smoke 3 times in the last 90 days over 1 & 1/2 inches of hair growth. You should be fine but I have also seen inconsistencies with this rule and body hair.

If you want to treat your hair get a couple of boxes of Zydot Ultra Clean. UV light can also break down THC metabolites so you may want to get some sun or get in a tanning bed. These are some starting tips.
