Questions for the Boobed one...

....thanks for the tips thus far and I wanted to ask you for a few more tips.

Quick Fix should be coming to my house tomorrow but I think I want to use the clean urine I obtained today. It's about 2.2 oz's worth and stored in my fridge.

I practiced quite a bit today. I was simulating fridge temps in some nice, 3 oz. plastic bottles I purched at Sprawl-Mart by placing them in hot water that I heated in the microwave. This step seems to be the most critical and takes the most practice.

I have it almost narrowed down to heating the water in a big coffee cup for :30 sec where the digital themometer reads about 107' . Then I place the fake specimen housed in the 3 oz plastic containers for 3 min and the urine reads about 96'. I noticed that stirring the hot water in the coffee cup after microwaving is crucial as is shaking the test-water in the plastic container after heating to get a true heat reading.

Luckily for me the facility I will hitting is about a 5 min drive from my house and I want to be able to leave my house with the urine at 100' but I fear that heating the sub urine too much could cause issues when the lab analyses it. I have not read any posts from you on this matter but what are some of the steps you take to make sure the temperature is precise? Is it possible to screw up the sub urine by overheating it in the coffee cup's hot water?

Any tips or advice on this final step are appreciated.

I have a massive migraine right now but I am going to try to answer your questions. In the past I used to heat my urine to about 110 before securing it. After much practice I don't even heat mine that much or use a thermometer, I can tell what is 100-105 degrees. Heating it to 110 to 115 isn't going to damage the sample.

You are completely making this too difficult on yourself trying to get to the center in 5 minutes. You cannot imagine how much heat your body gives off because you are used to your own body heat. Heat it to 100 degrees (the temp strip is on the bottle) and stick it on you. If it is still in between 90-100 degrees 45 minutes later chances are it will stay at that temp indefinitely. It isn't nuclear fusion. Just practice. Take the bottle and make sure it gets good skin exposure then check it at 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours. It isn't that hard and you will be surprised how well you body keeps it warm. Your body is like an oven you just are used to it and don't realize how much heat it is giving off. You are just nervous and over thinking this. Don't speed from your house to the site and cause a wreck. You will be fine.

I should have added the information about testing the "crotch temperature" which I did at least 5 times: with intervals of 20 min, 30 min, and 45 min. The coolest it got was 96.9' (45 min timeframe). I tested my crotch region with a digital themometer and it came out 97.9'.

I agree that I am completely over-thinking things but I think a good amount of paranoia and practice typically leads to good results. I guess my real question was about how hot one cen get the sub-urine without raising any red flags at the lab and you answered it.
