Quick Fix and Quest

Here is my situation:

-Pre-employment screen, at Quest taking test on 7-9-07 and will not have toked in 31 days. Every day smoker - about a bowl a day.
-5 years ago was nailed on random screen. Actually went 3/4 at Lab Corp - finally nailed after using those shit your guts out detox drinks at a head shop
-I am not going to take the chance of trying to piss clean despite the 31 days since I am bigger with some moderate body fat mass
-I ordered some Quick Fix after reading the testimonials on here
-Will do plenty of practice runs with the heating: will buy a digital themometer, saw someone mention Icy Hot pads keeping specimen at 100', going to crotch it in the taint area with two pairs of tighty whities, etc.

Here are my question to those who have successfully passed using Quick Fix and Quest (or other pre-employment screen 5-50 MS/GS):

-Did you test with a themometer that you snuck in with you in the bathroom or did you test prior to entering the facility in your car?
-Is the temperature strip on the bottle accurate?
-Is it cool to empty the synthetic urine into a clean container and put water into the container with the temp. strip for practice purposes?
-Did you simply practice by heating and cooling the synethic urine? Is that OK to do without damaging the specimen?

Any answers and tips are appreciated. God I am jonesin' for a toke!!

Do the practicing with the QF and the bottle it comes it. It can be heated and cooled over and over again. The temp strip is accurate and very similar if not the same that are used on the specimen cups. If you practice enough you wont have to sneak in the thermometer plus you have the strip on the bottle. Take a quick peak before you walk in and give them your fake urine and laugh.

I still cannot bring myself to fire one up LOL....I am 35 yrs old and have been enjoying the smoke for quite sometime. I know if I get baked (have an eighth of some sticky) I will worry myself sick -- not to mention it's been 3 weeks. I guess I am still paranoid that I will get a call telling me I gave fake urine and I really need this job since I got laid off last month. Not to mention, when I got nailed 5 years ago by a random test, that was one of the more sickening experiences of my lifetime and I am already worrying about this one. Hell, I even pushed my start date so I could clean my system out when I could be double-dipping (severance package).

Sorry about my initial post -- I ran across a bunch of similar threads after posting. I also wanted to thank you for all of the information and pointers you put up here - I assume you gotta be around my age.

Keep up the good work and I will let you know what happens. At least I am experienced with the Lab Corp/Quest environment (ugh).

One last thing. I do have the capability to obtain a clean specimen. Say I get a friend of mine to piss in a water bottle a day before or the morning of the test -- would you immediately put it in the fridge or freezer? I read where you or someone else mentioned letting frozen urine thaw via hot water. If given the choice - would you use Quick Fix or sub-urine?

At least you did some research before posting and that is a nice change. It is all about responsible pot smoking and doing research on how to pass your drug test instead of expecting to get spoon fed the info is part of being responsible.

QF is a solid product, it will not be detected as anything but a valid clean sample. They constantly stay up to date with the formula hence the number 4.0. The company is great too as when they went from 3.0 to 4.0 they let people who had 3.0 trade it in for 4.0 (which I think they changed the formula to account for creatinine clearance). So be confident in your product.

Remember pre employment screens are not observed unless you give them cause so don't worry about being watched unless you do something stupid.

If you use are going to use the sample within 2 weeks the frig is fine. If you get it in the morning just use it. If it is near 2 weeks I would be safe and freeze it then put it in the frig the night before.

You used to be able to get QF for $8 on eBay but they don't let you sell it anymore. If that was the case I might use QF but I use my own clean urine stored frozen. I dethaw it either just by letting it sit out. Then I warm it to 100 in a water bath. I am just not confident in nuking human urine. If my situation was a little different I might use QF because its biggest advantage over human urine is it can be stored at room temp for about 18 months. That is helpful for some people who need to have it with them at work at all times.

I just did QF + Quest and just go in and pour. It was 106 outside that day and My Bottle temp said 100 after a hour and a half under the boys. After the pour the cup said 100. one blow and swirl and it went 99....one more it went 98. I carried it in the pouch of My fruit of the looms. One problem...I put it back in My underware empty after using and the boys got quite warm. The employer called 2 days later and said My test was clean.

I bought some of the temp strips like they use on the ua cups to do my testing.They work pretty good.Also the home thc test kits to see how I'm doing just in case I get a "do it now" random.

Just order some Quick Fix and use that -- you should be good to go.

For some reason (and probably not a good one) I feel like using a sub specimen over Quick Fix just to see if I can do it and get away with it. I have a sub specimen and have been practicing quite a bit and know that I can do it. At the same time, after much research, I have yet to see someone post on various boards that they have failed using Quick Fix.

It seems heating up a bottle of water in testing to around 99' and sticking in your crotch -- it remains at 96' - 97' for at least 45 minutes to an hour.

I think I need to get the hero shit out of my system and just use Quick Fix. It should be at my front door in a UPS box some time tomorrow. I just want to get this pre-employment shit over with and spark up a big fat bowl of the $60 an eighth sticky sitting in my basement that I bought prior to getting laid off a little less then a month ago. A piece of mind will make the smoke much more enjoyable.

Has anyone ever had anyone say anything about the color of quick fix. The color don't look right to me.

I don't claim to be an expert on urine color but over my 30+ years I would say that it looks like one of the many colors of wee wee.

It is a little bright but that's ok. It passes validity testing which is what matters.
