Skunk No. 1, why the 1?

I haven't personally heard of Skunk No. 2 so why the No. 1?

I would guess because its the origonal or standard of that strain,
like aghani #1.

The skunk variants could be called #2, #3 etc but its a bit boring and non-descriptive so it make sense to call them for exmple...skunk-berry or skunk-kush or whatever to give a clue as to what they are.

Yup #1 is the original old-school Skunk. It is sometimes also called 'The Pure'.
There are other skunks too, like super skunk.
I think #1 is a good plant for noobs to practice on and breeders to work with. It is an IBL and very solid.

Skunk#1 was highly regarded back in the day but is somewhat underrated now . I still think it possesses one of the best paranoia free sativa highs today.:dance:
