I need some tips on purchasing...
An essential breakdown of bud grade... how many blunts am I looking at if I purchase, for example an 1/8, and so on.
And anything else you feel is necessary to know for a rookie purchaser. (I've never smoked on a regular basis and always smoked with friends who did the purchasing)

It depends on how big you roll your blunts.
An 1/8 though is 3.5 grams of weight, about the bottom layer of a sandwich bag, maybe 3/4 of an inch in height.
Usually though, a joint is $5, which is .5 of a gram, so you could roll up 6-7 joints with an 1/8.
Blunts though, tend to be bigger at about 1-1.5grams worth. You can put much more than 1.5g's, I'm just talking minimum amounts, so blunts worth, about 3-4 blunts with an 1/8.
So really it all depends on how big you roll them, but just do the math from 3.5g's and try to eyeball how big and how many you can roll.
