I think perhaps the reason we are not seeing pictures is because they don't look like proper diamonds. Diamonds are made of solely carbon, and occur naturally the result of the high temperatures and pressures found within volcanoes. Peanuts are made of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen and probably also trace metals. The problem the scientists will have is in separating them out and leaving only the carbon. Why is seems they can make it from peanut butter and not graphite I donot know. Its a very strange article, and I had to double check the date on it wasn't april the first.

EDIT saying that though, I very much doubt you can make a diamond with any of those elements still within the lattice structure of the diamond, which is quite unique in lattice world. I'm now guessing they have probably only made a piece of diamond the size of a dustmites eye, and have confirmed that it is a true diamond structure through some crystallography X-ray diffraction measurement.
