tric question
Hi all when I am checking my trics I know you want half cloudy and half amber for best buzz, which looks close, my question would be what about trics that still have yet to form a ball on end but look to be changeing color, do i wait till these fill in or not.
Thanks

Different growers do the harvest differently. I prefer 80% cloudy, 5-20% amber...go for a Average % over the whole plant. (I consider this primetime harvest)
If this your first grow: I recommend harvesting some plants early, some primetime and some late. Dial-a Stone.
also....after drying...put the main colas in the bottom of glass quart jars and the smaller popcorn buds on top for curing. Then, if you have more than one jar...draw from a different jar each time....you'll be glad you did......

Thanks dutch pimp this plant is mainly sativa bag seed has been grown for about 12 weeks has been twisted turned tied has about 20 colas aprox.12in. long and 4 to 5 in. wide, not many popcorn buds at all.I have garden sticks on every cola to hold them up stems will not support them at all. Looks like today will be chop day.
Thanks

If the other trichomes are mature and you happen to find a stalk with no head then chances are it probably burst or was disturbed.

I prefer harvesting when I have 10% -20% amber trichomes ... (amber trichs indicate the THC is degrading, converting to CBD) CBD isn't to be discouraged, though ... a lot of medical ailments respond better to the CBD influence ... I have read that CBDs are excellent anti-inflammatories, ideal for arthritis sufferers ... I suffer from arthritis, and even my preferred sativas help me a lot ... :smokin:
