Ganja smells like a barn...

So I cracked open my bag of ganja tonight, wondering if I should step out and light up. But when I opened my bag and took a good sniff it smelled like... like a barn/stable... a place you keep farm animals.

I've had it for maybe 3 months in a mason jar, and it looks great but the smell is kinda wierd. When I cracked the bud open it smelled fine, do you think it's still okay to smoke?
