what does everybody use as light fixtures?? and if i have a 23 watt bulb (100 watt equivalent) can i put it in a lamp that says "do not use more then 40 watts"??

I'm not an electrician...but I'd say you'd probably be ok. Your light bulb only pulls 23 watts out of the socket, but gives you the shining light brightness of a 100 watt incandescent bulb, so you should be good to go. If you're worried, maybe keep an eye on it for a while and make sure it's not near anything flammable.

thanks ill try it and just keep an eye on it and can u find CFLs in a 1 pack?? because i can only find 6 packs and i dont need that many

yea get some 42 watters, they come in single packs, i got mine in single packs at home depot
