Hey Potheads.
I have seen a few pictures on this site and on others of people taking glass jars/bottles and making bongs out of them. I really, really want to do this and everything, but what is the best way to punch a hole in a glass bottle without having to worry about cracking it?

yea.. you can't just punch a whole in a glass bottle... you need a glass drill bit... you a platic 20oz bottle... just heat up the spot where you want you slide(empty bic pen) with a lighter and push it through.. it should make a wholethe size of the slide.. don't heat it too mush though.. then all the plastic melts
in my thread about the bong i made, the can was glass but the top was tin. thats how it is on just about every tomato sauce can ive seen. you wont need to poke a hole in the glass, you can just use a pair of scissors and poke the tin, very easy. peace.

Allright, cool. I think that I'll just stick with the bong that I made out of my 1 liter bottle. It hits like a fuckin' bomb. It takes 2 hits to clear it because I let it get real dense before I hit it.
Which brings me to my next point. The Bowl/Stem.
What is the best way to make one of these? My personal favorite, and the one that seems to work the best is when I take a bic pen stick (hollowed out) and then I wrap foil over it, sticking small holes in the foil. Then I take some more foil and use that to make the actual bowl.
Can anyone help me? Pictures would be greatly appreciated, I'm more of a "visual learner". Thanks.

yeah I know.. I don't want to get sick off it, that's why I am looking for the best way to make a bowl for a bong that is safe to hit.
The last bong i made was from an alien cup from the fair, cut the top off, put a neon green stem with a 3/4 inc socket then a carb in the back...
