Need a little bit of advice..

Okay, here's the scoop..a friend of mine's boss has a daughter who's 22 years old...she has been married for about two years now and in a relationship that's been over the past four years, though they had a kid two years ago and they got married just because of that...and since then it's been declining. This guy doesn't do much at all with the kid...playing with him is playing video games...WTF..go out and teach him to ride a bike and shit, you know? She's completely unhappy and is wanting to leave..she does nothing except basically clean up after him and get bitched at, is never appreciated, hardly gets intimacy from him..The only thing is that he's basically providing anything she needs financially..nice vehicle and everything..She told me she doesn't care about all that...because she wants to come here, which is where her family is, and see how things go between her and I...As you may imagine she's having problems getting away..she's afraid he's going to do something to her if she tells him it's over..and the fact that her kid isn't going to see his father as much..but she's fed up..her and I have known each other for about a year at least now..and up until recently he hadn't really hung out, we had just seen each other and randomly talked..we still haven't done anything..as far as sex goes, we've made out and got messed up together and stuff but nothing further than that so far..I feel strong feelings for her, and the way she talks I get the idea she feels the same way about me, or quite close..

Either way I think I'm going to wait and see how things go, but does anyone maybe have had a similar occurance of events and have any advice they could offer? Should I persuade her all I can to get out of it? She's really stressed out and shit right now, and he has it put in her head that nobody else will want her and stuff...she believed it until her and I hung out and talked..I want to be with her so bad, she's nearly an hour and a half away, and we talk through email, text message and phone..and when she can get away to come down here..by the way, I'm 18..

even with pot I still just am like..going crazy over her I guess? what do you guys think you would do in my situation?

Well thats alot to get into imo. A kid and shit? I got no probs. with her bein 22 but to get into a relationship, a married one with a kid involved at age of 18 is somthin big. Not no high school drama relationship.

So is she worth it?

I say just be a good friend, if it turns into a friends with benifits just watch it.

If shes ONLY staying with him for the money than thats just fucked up, shes probably confused and just going along with it like bitchs do. The funny thing about that is I have seen plenty of poor people that are ALOT happier than wealthy people. As far as your conserned..probably shouldnt do anything, not even hang out with her or even act like you want to until she finnally looses him which is what will eventually happen. If hes really violent tell her to have 91...dialed on the phone with her finger on 1 then if anything goes wrong cops are on the phone instantly.

Is she worth it...to me, yes. And yeah, right now like I said we still haven't done anything we just talk and see each other every so often..

I've been in several relationships, but only a few were serious and had love involved...I can already feel myself having feelings for her now, and I think it's because I got to know her so well before anything actually went further..

I know the kid is luggage..but 1 is better than 2 and kids are cool as hell anyways..I told myself I'd never be getting into another relationship, was just leading the single life...until her and I started talking..but for her, well..I certainly don't feel this way just about anyone..and I think it'd be kind of stupid to ignore these feelings..

she's very highly considering coming back here to the town I'm in..her family's all here..she just will almost have to start all over..

If her relationship with her husband is that bad then shes going to have to make up her own mind about whats best for her and her child. If its an abusive relationship than by all means encourage her to get out of it.
If you get involved with her how are you planning on providing for her and her child? Where you planning on continuing your education? Having a child would make that very hard. Just make sure you're not getting in over your head.

Somehow you don't come across as the type of person who would date a woman with a child.

Don't be a homewrecker. Be a friend, and if things work out, it will. Just don't come in between a marriage.
