Time seems to be slowing down. I'm drooling and can't wait. I've done everything wrong and I' still going to be VERY happy. Clear and cloudy. No amber. A few more weeks I guess. I just hope they pack the weight on like everyone says.

dsm, looks great! :)
Yep, from wk6 forward, you'll start to see them really pack on the weight. That's when the real fun begins. :D
When your buds really start to get big & heavy, they'll be more susceptible to bud mould/rot. Keeping humidity down, hopefully in the 30-40% region, will go some way to preventing bud mould.
Nice work! :)
wonderful!!!! looks good!!!
Thanks,
I keep an oscillating fan on them 24/7. Hopefully that will help. The buds are so huge now at day 38 I can't even imagine what's going to happen. I'm getting downright giddy. It's my first foray into the realm of a 1000 w hps.
I'm not even going to tell everyone all the mistakes I made till after harvest. It'll give everyone that knows how to grow a big laugh. Now I know what to do for the next time. (If I have the $) Been growing on and off since 89. But you'll never imagine in what. You'll just have to stay tuned and hope this thread doesnt die to find out. I'll tell after harvest. Have just gotten reaquainted with this group. Have been away a while. Looks like a good group.

Nothing out there is as good as 1000 hps bro, strings may be needed to support the weight that is on the way. peace!
heehee... your fun is just beginning. :) Natch, I'm also a fan of the big HPS bottles. You're gonna have so much bud you won't know what to do with it all (but I bet you get some ideas. ;) ). You're really going to like the density you get, not just in the tops but all the way down the plant.Quote:

Once you get settled in to how your op runs based on your own conditions, you'll work out ways to either make it produce more, produce harvests more often or make it easier to operate. These forums are terrific for sharing little tips & tricks.
Your going to have some weight on them Fuckers, you'll have string every where soon,, Keep up the good work...

what lights were u using to grow this shit??
I vegged them under 4-4' Cool White flouros in premium shop lights from Lowes because the reflector was bigger. 6 were from unknown clones and 2 were from wicked bag seed. Lost track of how long I vegged them but was less that 5 weeks. Then I put them under the "Big Gun" A HydroFarm Radiant 1000w Hortilux. The best thing I ever bought. The first time I turned it on it seemed so bright I said "Oh my God, What have I done!!!" I love it. I'ts a challenge keeping the room under 80. It runs about 76-82 degrees. I'll probably have to do some vent work for the next crop. Tomorrow will be 6 weeks. "Let the Games begin"
Fair play on the light, sounds like a right big fucker,,,When you say 'its hard to keep room under 80' is that with any vent at the mo, or is it just running alone??
