try some weatherstripping that is sold at Lowes or Home Depot. Its not that expensive and it will not only make your cab light proof but also sealed from air as well, so make sure you have a good ventilation system in place.
oh i got a good ventilation system 150cfm squirle cage an a 6in inline duct fan
Well, without knowing your cab size, you should be fine then. Just remember you want to be able to keep lots of fresh air in there for your plants. They need to breathe like you and I.
hello mate,i lined the inside of my closet with black and white plastic sheeting its not dear and its ligh proof:thumbsup:
Weatherstripping is GREAT for cracks up to ~3/4 inch or so.
Bigger than that you can improvise... that dark grey foam pipe insulation is easy to cut into whatever size chunks you need, and cram it into cracks.
If the closet is big enough for you to stand in it, get in there with a roll of duct tape, turn off the lights, close the door, and go nuts. You have to use a few layers though- the stuff is not entirely light proof. Plus it stands up badly to heat, so you have to replace it every so often.
black and white poly and some velcro.. or maybe a shower curtain rod inside the top above the door and some poly or something..But.. hey.. i'm high and will McGuyver some shit..
One more thing to add, intake and vent must be light and bug tight.
If you do ot filter you incomeing air , you will have the mighty mite,
the closet is 2x3x9 im gonna use the 5 feet of height for the light section then cut off the top with plywood.. an have all the fans stored up their... oh yea its a 400 watter
the black n white plastic works a treat
