2 quick questions for proffessionals: 1) deactivating of pollen; 2) flowering cycle.

Hey guys! I hope you and your trees are doing well! :)

Here we go, straight to the point!
1) first question - I partially pollinated few bottom branches of my babes 2 days ago - would like to get some seeds with my first own cross and get buds as well. :) That was my first experience in doing this - I put them in zip bags, pollinated and closed, from time to time I open bags so that developing buds could get some of air. The problem is that I think I put way too much of pollen on one of the branch and some of the pollen is on little leafs (those circling the bud). I'd like to remove bags tomorrow because it has already passed 3 days and I think all needed pollen is absorbed by female flowers. Now my fan is off and I want to turn it on as soon as I remove bags from pollinated branches but I need to make sure that the pollen which is on the little leafs is not active. I've read in the "Cannabis Bible" that spraying with water will deactivate that pollen. Is that truth? Don't want to experiment with the yield, so have decided to ask you guys :) What can I do? Another thing is I think if water works for deactivation then it might already be deactivated since the condensation in bags were high enough and all the little leafs inside of the bags were literally watered. Well, sorry for such long description, hope this helps - anyway, who has already done this before should understand my story and worries :) Will additional spraying be of any good?

2) second question - flowering time for my babes is supposed to be 9 weeks. I'd like to make sure on when I should start counting flowering time: from the day of switching to 12/12 or from the time I first noticed female flowers (in one week after switching to 12/12).

1) Yes the water trick works. And you are right that condensation in the bag is enough to kill any pollen that gets wet... on the other hand, give the buds a spritz before taking the bag off anyway, just to be on the safe side.

2) From the first day of 12/12. But you might see slight variations anyway; keep an eye of your trichs and you should have no problems.

This is my 2nd grow, first one wasn't successful - males, but got the pollen from them. Do you think I will be able to check trichs using my camera (it has good 15x optical zoom) - check the picture and please tell me your opinion what you think... maybe I should get a special magnifying glass? Btw, she is on 4th week of flowering.

You are still at least 3 weeks from when you would even START to look at trichs.
15x isn';t half bad... Also, the trichs while they are till clear give the buds a sparkly apprearance in bright light, rather than frosty.

i strap a staw or a bit of ruber tube to the hoover to make like a mini hoover.. cus otherwise i just end up hoovering half the leaves off.. lol :)

Only use a vacuum if it is fitted with a HEPA filter.. something like a shop vac is literally going to create a pollen-storm in your house... blowing pollen EVERYWHERE... could be disastrous.
