I've made a mission to collect DVD's of all stoner movies, but only good ones of course. so far i have found:

How High

why hasn't anyone mentioned dazed and confused????

detroit rock city isn't really classified as a stoner movie, at least i don't think so when compared to harold and kumar or super troopers, but the presence and use of reefer and shrooms (anything else? i don't recall...) is enough to make it a "stoner movie". and it's a good rock and roll movie. with lots of reefer smoking and some shroom intake so yeah...

also, blow, although not really a stoner movie, is a great movie about reefer/other illicit substances smuggling. it's really quite fascinating

and i also happen to like the movie idle hands with seth green and jessica alba...it's a TOTAL stoner movie, but it's extremely cheesy, so most people probably don't really think it's that "good"

i also would like to mention fast times at ridgemont high and the big lebowski!!! :)
