Does anybody watch the show "House"?

This is my favorite T.V. program actually. I just love learning the medical facts, and especially trying to asess symptoms and guess what the person has before they reveal it in the episode. Thus far I've guessed 3 ahead of time. :jointsmile:

Plus I love Gregory House's character, definately a totally different kind of protagonist. Albeit I think he's gotten way to stuck in his reclusive hyper-defence mechanism mindstate, but I sympathise with him too. Honestly that's my idea of the best person to hang out with and smoke a doob lol. I find I really sympathise with him, kind of reminds me or me, except successful and socially confident.


Argh, but I think the show has finally come to an end, a mere 3 seasons in :(. I won't spoil the last episode in case somebody still wants to see it, but they could easily end it there. My sister said she did some reading on the web and Hugh Lori apparently has been away from his family too much because of the shooting, so he decided to quit. *sigh*


Does anybody else love this show like I do, or at least like it?

Yeah I used to watch it. The last time I watched that show .. well spoilers.. NVM! I do love Dr. House's witty/dry humour! :D

Well, Dr. Forman was the only one I liked really, I was sorry to see him go but pleased at the same time that they didn't do the predictable thing and change his mind at the last moment. Chase just seemed like the most 2D character, and the whole ausie-surfer look doesn't jive too well with me. I don't know what happened to Cameron, she used to be really nice, then learned to stand up for herself and start being a little meaner.... but then she took it way too far and became a total bitch!

anyway, if by some miracle the show did continue into a 4th season, I'd look forward to seeing him work alone and eventually recruit some new staff. It would be interesting indeed to see what kind of new characters they could introduce. DAMNIT, if there is a god the show won't end here! *cry*

Well, I've searched a whole bunch of fansites as well as the official site, and while I see lots of discussion about the final episode, nothing about the show ending! :) Perhapse my sister was wrong and it was just one crazy rumor. If so I can't wait to see season 4.

yeah ive watched it since it started and i like it a lot.
hugh laurie (sp?) is a great actor and his humor is great
the show is just blessed with great acting and better writing

I've only seen it once, but I liked it. I like that actor Hugh Laurie. He's always so deadpan and droll in his roles. I've been watching him in British movies for a long time now.

Quite a bit of realism , these ppl. have vast medical backgrounds or the producers / script writters do . I did an 18 mos stint in the hospital and could have really appreciated a Dr. w/ his demener .
