All of these busted posts are sketching me out!

I've never had a run in with the law when it comes to weed, but all of these posts about people getting busted are starting to make me think it's only a matter of time before it happens to me. I always make sure to smoke only in safe places like my house or a friends house. Never in a car, or in public, and I've stopped bringing bud to parties. So really the only time I have it on me outside of my house is when I'm bringing it home. I wonder what the chances of me getting busted are. Been smoking for about year and a half and have never even had an encounter with police when it comes to bud. Why I'm worrying about this now i'm not sure, but what do you guys think? Am I just being paranoid?

Wow, and to add to my worry I just looked on the NORML site and posession of any amount in Kansas where I live is a year in prison and $2,500 Fine!!! Wow!

It's funny how weed can provide an answer to any question. I blazed and feel much better. The way I see it...as long as I continue to be discreet and cautious I should be fine.

So I guess disregard those first 2 posts. Which it seems all of you did anyways. :)

Heh, yeah, you're as safe as anyone can be. As long as you're not going around and flailing it around and not driving with weed in your car, and not being obvious about doing it at any time, then you most likely will never be caught by the cops. You do none of that, so I think you're as safe as possible, haha.

Also, nobody posted probably because this is in the forum at the bottom... and I don't think as many people check it.

I have learned to never smoke with people who hate cops just because they are cops, Brag about doing jail time, Pick fights at any chance they get... just to prove they are the toughest fish in the pond, people who brag about anything, and people more than 3 years younger than me. Every person I have dealt with in those catagories have lead me down a path of higher risks. And when I stopped hanging out with people like that I found that I was the only smoker I knew, and now no one is around to leech off me either, as those kinds of people tend to take pride in mooching, and no pride in buying their own.

That's the max. Unlikely you'll actually see that time for a poss charge.

Just be safe, and trust your gut. Just from experience, getting busted happens at any moment of time, you could be safe, chillin' and out of the blue, they're some cops. It's when you let your guard down for that one moment that you get busted.

It's good to be a little paranoid. Keep it mostly to your house. If you have to carry it around, put it in your trunk. Just be safe.
