Pee Test Question - What's the magic #?

Hi guys!

I just found out that a job I applied for is making me an offer, but naturally, they drug test. DAMN!!! This will be my very first time ever being drug tested and I am reading all these posts some of which are helpful and others are complete bull.

A few of my habitual smoker friends have told me that hydrating, detoxing as best you can, and not smoking for about TWO weeks has not failed them.

I'd love to do a poll of what you all think that magic safety number is. Of course I realize the longer the better, but I am not sure how long I can string them along telling them that I'm deciding whether to accept their offer.

So, I'd love to see some testimonials as to how long you went without smoking and passed a urine drug screen.

Ok...so I bought a home test at a head shop, one of those strip ones and passed after smoking exactly 7 days prior. I have been hydrating like crazy and have been taking this crap I got at a health food store called Bentonite, it's a liquid that basically sticks to all the impurities in your system. Not sure if that's what did it, but it's fairly cheap ($8 for a big bottle) and not made specifically for drugs, it's just a general detox. FYI!

You should not alter your results by drinking excessive fluids before taking a home test. To get the best measure of if you are clean, test the dirtiest urine which is your first void of the day.
