question about roots :p

the roots are comeing out of the bottem of the pots and the plants are placed outdoors on a carpet.. can my roots get damaged in any way ?

also my leaves are curling, not at the top of the leaf but picture this, the leaves are bending in a v shape despite how healthy they look

the plants are going great though, 1 is already showing sighns of flowering, this is the biggest plant in which i call him kong :chainsaw:

and what is a really good soil for these plants for useing outdoor.. 1,st they will be in pots for around 1 - 2 weeks then transplanting to outdoors in growers island haha

ty in atvance i would probally have all my plants pollinated with males and im sure they would be dead just like last years crop if it wasn't for cannabis.com lol !!!!!

how big are the pots? roots coming out the bottom means they need more room to expand into, the v shape is normal (a pic could correct me); And you will probably be ok until they go in the ground however, they may show signs of stress (i.e droopy rootbound) I'd get them in the earth ASAP!

thanks alot, that made my day.. yeah i gess thats normal, i actually seen a fue plants on here with the same formation and it harvested wonders :) tomorow im picking up some top soil.. what kind do u suggest i should use for putting in pots for 2 weeks then transplanting to outdoors ?

There's plenty of recommended soils out there, but anything without nutes in it would suffice (I don't use anything special, I just add lots of perlite), I would also suggest not transplanting them into new pots, the stress of transplanting, then transplanting them again into the ground will set you back up to two weeks (usually 1 week of stress and minimal growth after a transplant is normal). Maybe get their ground ready if possible, cut the bottoms off your existing pots and put a trash bag with soil in it under each one until they're ready to plant in the ground. when they are ready to be planted, cut the remaining pot off them and plant them. The less stress the better. heck, having the roots sticking out will stress them less than a double transplant.

Yes everyone is correct you should transplant into larger pots. Just make sure you have extra dranage and plenty of holes to get the water out.

To answer your other question about roots, yes light will kill your roots and if enough die from being root bound and light your plant will suffer from shock and have a lower then expected yield and quality.

Just a bit to add... carpet? I would either remove the carpet or get the plants up on like a milk crate or a couple bricks that will prevent pests and moisture and mold from hiding under the pot.

wow i was just out looking at the plants and desided 2 smell them :p lol they smell fucking amazing ... it has a real potent smell :)
