ACLU: The Wrong Side Of Rights
The Anti-Civil Liberties Union. There is no liberty issue to defend in pedophilia and predators of children. We're talking about sexual crimes against children. The illusion of sexual crimes against children. The promotion of it. All we sane and reasonable people want is for society to have the Right and the ability to pass legislation designed to protect children and punish predators.
Children, under the law, are not responsible for their own protection. One or more adults are, be it parents or law enforcement/justice system. By this nature, children are deemed a unique class of citizen that requires responsible adults to protect them from the bad guys. But somehow, the ACLU believes that people have the right to behave in ways that demonstrate the intention or desire to harm defenseless fellow citizens. They seek social acceptance of certain forms of sexual deviancy. They seek policies that are designed to protect the promoters of pedophilia from obstacles for their prey. It's the slow and painless numbing of our consciences.
And what ACLU philosophies ultimately do is choose sides with the aggressor over the defenseless. The ACLU wants to protect the right to express one's sexual desires towards kids, but is perfectly willing to take away the kids right's of expectations that society and government will work to protect them from faceless predators and even would-be predators. HEY, ACLU! One cannot utilize their Rights to violate the Rights of another citizen. And to incite this kind of criminal behavior sounds like a crime to me, just like you can't incite people to lynch blacks and blow up churches!

And before liberals start to ask. Yes, the ACLU has a current policy advocating the legalization of child porn distribution and possession.

I don't think that any other ACLU stance evokes more anger from me, than this one. I mean, how sick can you get? Do these people not have a conscience at all, or are they just plain EVIL? How can one argue this sick, twisted view in the name of "protecting civil liberties?" Please, some liberal out there that loves defending this evil organization...explain this to us. No wonder the ACLU doesn't want the public to have access to its policy guide!
Since the ACLU thinks that child pornography should be legal, it is not surprising to read that it is against making it a felony to advertise, sell, purchase, barter, exchange, give, or receive child pornography.
