This film should be required viewing for those (young or old!) who want to experiment with lots of other "fun" drugs. Or else go to NA meetings for 8 years like I did :hippy: I have a few dead friends who wanted more excitement

heroine is the worst drug there is. Once your in you either die from liver breakdown in your 50s or you OD in your 20s. And all those rehab centers are even worse. You go in as a heroine addict and you leave as a methadon addict. And almost everyone relapses once hes out. The only way to get out forever is to detox be yourself, no chemicals, no substitudes no anything. You shit yourself and puke your gutts out for a good 7 days and then you work your ASSS OFFF for about 3 years to train your brain to fully produce endorphin again and THEN you MIGHT have a chance out...

think twice before you try it. I know about this shit substance

Excellent movie, They should show it to us in D.A.R.E. or some shit because it was the one movie that made me really not want to do a drug. Everytime I have ever been offered that shit I flashed on the guy at the end sitting in jail with his arm so increadbly infected.

...."every junkie is like the setting sun"

i watched trainspotting the other night, this reminded me of it.

I agree, i just watched this movie for the first time like 2 days ago and i almost quit everything right there.... me and my girlfriend were joking around saying that they should just show that for D.A.R.E. classes!!!

ya that dudes arm is fucking nasty...
i could never stick needles in my arm like that..

that movie is intense and the mom did a great job, that doctor was fucked up tho... i almost felt sorry for her...
