How thick do the roots get?
I germed in a styrofoam cup, the roots started coming out of the bottom (poked many nail sized holes into the bottom for drainage) so I placed yet another cup underneath with soil, the roots grew through that one, left it alone for a while and the roots managed their way into the bottom of that one but with no soil in the third cup so they were easy to pull out.
I left the bottom half of the styrofoam cup with all the small nail sized holes from the first cup, are the holes going to be big enough for the roots as the plant matures? Or will the roots gradually open up the holes themselves through growing.. or do I need to dig up that bottom little bit of the cup and get those tiny roots outta there?
I may be able to explain the whole situation better another day.. Right now, I'm in a hurry, so I hope anyone can understand my question.

I'm going to take your word for it. Yeah, I had nothing else to use other than these rather large styro cups but they worked!
