Some outdoor ?'s
I have an area to work with that really is limitless but I'm trying to keep it 100 sq ft or less. This area is all natural grass and bush territory. Elevation is slightly higher then the water table. (Stream probably 15ft lower in elevation). All wooded area with random clearings. The area I chose is one of the random clearings on private property mind you. I realize I probably should have had this area all ready for plants by now - almost june.... I want to get kicken on it like ASAP.
A few questions, how many most likely sativa dominant plants (bagseed), can I get comfortably into a 100 sq foot area or less. Should I till the area, by topsoil spread it, till again to mix it. or shall I till it dig 'indiviual pots' for each plant and just fill those with good potting soil or what.
This area also recieves direct sunlight for damn near every minute thats possible. I think I can make somthing out of this if I put a little bit of time into it. I also realize this area will need a minimum of a chicken wire fence to keep out unwanted critters, and possibly a shade of some type to try to keep heat down and burnage minimal.
I'm kind of rambling, I just got done smoking a real good one and I've been up for about 17 hours today already, so let me know if you have any certain opinions/theories/suggestions for the above mentioned topics.
Thanks for reading.

BTW: I had an indoor grow log (real weak) started way back. It was aborted for multiple reasons, but I want to make this work guys!

As for planting methods....the choice is yours. Till the whole area and put soil in it if you want to put the effort in, but I would just use pots and bury the pots if at all possible (Digging that much can make ALOT of noise!). As for chicken wire, fuck it man. You can get predator urine at a gardening store with little 30-day dispensers . Chicken wire is simply too visible. Good luck and hurry up before the season ends!

Your spot sounds alot like mine only mine is about 1 square kilometer. I have groupings of only 5-10 per spot which are spaced out by about 300-600 feet (seems like alot but really isnt that far).
I have prepared each pot using both the hole method and the patch method. The patch method is easier but less stealth imo. For the holes i simply dig about a (1.5-2)x(1.5-2) foot hole, mix manure and some good potting soil along with the natural soil. I keep the composted manure near the bottom of each hole for when they need it later.
As far a diging I simply bought a nice good shovel and cut it down near the base making it perfect size for a backpack. Its alot of work but if you take the time to amend the soil well your plants will be happy.
Best time is probably the break of dawn as digging can be somewhat loud. Just take your time and avoid scraping rocks and you should be fine for noise. Allways have an excuse for being out there ready and dont leave any garbage. Be sure to keep in mind what your plot looks like from the air.
Good luck!

Good points guys. I think rather then tilling it, I'll just use the hole method and probably 5 gallon buckets. If thats the case I can place them randomly where I want them rather then just in one patch.

i agree, a few plants to a spot and spread them out so it wont look like a regular old garden.
