so i tried to make some tea

Hi all, this is my first time posting here.
i just got my wisdom teeth out yesterday and was told that i cannot smoke for the next 4 days otherwise i risk getting dry sockets (i dont know what that means but its supposed to be unpleasent) so after not smoking all yesterday i decided today i would try and make tea.
I've never made tea before and i just did what my buddy told me and it's only been like fifteen minutes since i drank it and im kinda feeling it. but im pretty sure it wasnt as good as it could of been so im wondering if anyone has any pointers.

heres what i did:
first i boiled 2 cups of milk with 1 cup of water
then once that was done i added 1g of chronic that was in a tea bag i made from a different tea
i stirred it for a while then nuked the milk in the microwave for 1 min (it didn't look like it was mixing so i just thought it needed to be hotter)
then i mixed in the chronic again and it had a weird smell not like chronic just somthing unpleasent so i got 3tbsp of nesquick mixed it in and drank away.
i also left the tea bag in while i was drinking i doubt that makes much of a difference tho.

does that sound like i did it right? i feel pretty good now but i think it probly could be more intense. thanks for any advice.

tea is a tricky thing, i have had many arguement with friends about this, i just mixed in a ratio of water to milk and boiled it all together for a little bit and then drank it, got decently stoned, but then again i used an ass ton of stems instead of weed, i heard thats a good thing to do with a lot of stems was to make tea, but i mean, anything when water is not involved is definately a better way to go. cana-butter.

I've never done this, so take my words with a grain of salt... just going off what I've heard from browsing through the recipe forum many times.

The more fat that's in the mix the better. Next time try 3 cups of whole milk and leave out the water. Maybe even throw a bit of pure cream or butter in there too. Grind up your herb really well, as close to a powder as you can get it. Mix the herb with the milk, bring it to a boil, then lower the heat and let it simmer for good while (maybe an hour or so), stirring often to keep it from growing skin and adding water as needed to keep too much from evaporating.

That's what I'd do, anyway.

i have done this and it takes more than 15 minutes to feel anything seriously u wont peak until like 1hr and 30min in... i did it like this

1. Make 1/3 milk 2/3 water mixture and bring it to a boil
2. Pour the mixture into a small pot and add ground up cannabis
3. Let mixture simmer for about 10 minutes
4. Pour mixture through a strainer with tight holes
5. Drink


some extra flavoring might help (was not what id call delicious) i used like 2.7 grams and added in a pinch of butter at the beginning just to help things along but that probably just made it more disgusting... the point is its not hard and it certainly works oh yea dont forget to stir

I mixed my bud in with a teabag, I don't know how well it worked though since the damn tea is too hot I'll tell you later though

I really only did it cause the damn lighter wasn't working, even if it doesn't work I'll go over to a friends and get stoned there
what the hell I'm get in a new lighter,tin,bong, and pipe soon anyway
