Flowering and Transplanting Q's

Hi,

Started my first grow on may 1st and I have a question about flowering - but a quick rundown first. Long time smoker, and looking forward to smoking some quality homegrown.

I started 18 seeds with some other garden plants under 4x40 tubes. I planted 11 Endless Sky and 7 Sweet105 from drgreenthumb.com (quick delivery and all planted seeds sprouted).

3 weeks after planting I transplanted into half gallon pots and moved under a 600w MH bulb in a rough attempt at a grow room. Cedar on the ground and a 12" oscillating fan to move air. Transplanted on May 21, last monday and the plants are taking off. I've been watering with tap water left in an uncovered garbage bin for a few days, but just recently switched to using rain water from a rain barrel I installed out back. Using sensi 2 bloom as nutes.

They've really taken off the last few day (some more than others) and I'm at the point of wondering when to flower these guys?

And also, when would be a good time to move to 3 gallon containers? I'd like to weed out the males before moving to bigger pots for soil sake. Is transplanting during flowering a bad thing?

I wouldn't use a bloom nutrient on vegetative plants.

You're going to need to replant those before flowering, I usually replant them into bigger pots 1 week before I plan on flowering. I've never had a problem determining gender at that point.

My bad, The sensi is a combo pack and has veg and bloom nutes.

How long do you think these need before flowering? During watering today I noticed a few roots in some of the drainage holes. Dang these things grow quick.

Ceiling is only 6'.

you could flower them now, but I'd wait 2 weeks or so. I like to let my plants get to about a foot and 1/2.

I'm planning on getting up close and personal this weekend to see if I can determine gender.
