ADD + ADHD to get a card?

I was first diagnosed with ADHD around the age of 5 (maybe younger) and since then i have taken six different medications to help focus myself:

Clonidine Patch
Ritalin
Metadate CD
Concerta
Stratera
Aterol

Yes, lots of meds I know. All of these medications cause loss of appetite, difficulty sleeping, and feelings of depression.

I have an appointment next week to get my cannabis and I want to make sure that I'm not wasting $130--I NEED TO GET THIS CARD

I've researched online to find the benefits of marijuana for ADHD patients, but I can't find much. Can anyone provide me with some proof that ADHD is treatable with cannabis? I wanna be well-researched when I go in.

Is it likely that I will get my card?

Plus my 2 cents worth- I'm a teacher' aide-a few years ago we had this kid come into school REEKING of pot every few days. He was a classic ADHD kid. However, because the teacher noted that the kid did his best (and often only) work when he smelled of pot, we just shook our heads and let the kid work! He passed 7th grade by the skin of his teeth and a little help from cannabis.:thumbsup:

I doubt if you will have any trouble getting your recommendation since you are on medication. Enjoy your first "Cali-Legal" joint! It is amazing how much of a buzz-kill being illegal is! My friend has ADHD and has been taking medication all his life, so I decided I would introduce him to Mary Jane. First smoking session with him was a bit difficult, had to teach him to inhail etc...But I remember for about 2hours he sat and stared out the window while I had Cypress pumping on the stereo....

I got the card!!!
