The Longest NIGHT! (1st time DXM)

So After reading some of the other members DXM stories me and my buddy thought it sounded like fun. So last night WE went out and bought 3 bottles of Cough Syrup. 1 4oz and 1 6oz Vicks 44 (the one with the only ingredent was DXM 30mg per serving) and 1 bottle of tussin EX strength.

So we grabbed some tacobell and thought it might be best to not drink on epty stomachs. After eating and waiting a while for our food to digest a bit,we got to it. I drank the 6oz and my friend drank the 4oz.(we both finished our bottles in about 10 seconds. I am 6'3 and weigh 235 so i figured i might need a bit to see the effects. My buddy however is 5'5 and only 150, We had never done it before so we thought it might be best to go light at first, and if we didnt feel anything we had the extra bottle. This was at approx 12:20, so we go back to watching MTV music videos and playing poker, before we know it its already 1:25. WE both didnt feel normal but also werent really feeling any effects, it was hard to explain sort of like a light buzz. SO we busted out the tussin and my buddy took about 1 big shot or 1to 1 1/2 oz of it, i gulped the rest.

THen we started to play some internet poker, but approx 20 min after i finished the 2nd bottle i started to feel funny. IT was diff then anything ive felt before I just felt really really good. I had was listening to an i pod when it started to fascinate me that you can turn it up and down by rotating your finger around the circle. So i started to do this uncontrolably...It was about this time when my friend was starting to doubt if this was gonna work. I was also freaking out that it wasnt going to, and that i had wasted $13 on cough syrup.

Then all of the sudden my friend just comes barreling out of the bathroom, "HOLY COW im feeling it"! By this time i was just walking around the room trying to explain my "high" to myself and a friend online. SO we go back into the bathroom, where he had shut all the lights off and was sitting in the corner. I still wasnt completley there yet, after about 5 min of nothing we left the bathroom and came out to listen to some music. FOr some reason Music was just really really good sounding to me, even more so then after smoking. IT was at this time I realized was was looking into the dark and seeing things. I then declared ok, i can feel it....wow...

From that point on approx 2:15 we were messed up. It was so much fun, it was like everything we thought of we could see. No object morphing but, if there was nothing in the distance we would start to see things. The one thing we kept saying is wow, its weird how controlable this is. At 2:30 my mom called, she had forgotten i was spending the night. So after telling her i was etc. we went back to freaking out. I didnt have any paranoia like when smoking, even though ive learned to control that too. Then we went into my friends room where we saw a mirror. LOL! We spent a good 30 min looking into it and being freaked out about it. THe whole night we just wanted all the lights in the house off. Light seemed to take away a lot of the feeling. Music felt like it was all around me, almost as if i could feel it or something. Very strange, becuase it was much more intense then after smoking.
THe night went on for what seemed like years, running around the basement
having hallucnations, and great apifanies (s/p?).


IT was about at 5:30 I realized i was losing my high. But it deff wasnt all the way gone, so i laid down on the couch and just started thinking some crazy stuff. My buddy then all of the sudden started freaking out about how he couldnt express his feelings becuase he started having them all at once. After calming him down we began to talk, it was insane though becuase i got really philisophical. (i am anyway) but not to the point like I was then. We then began to talk until 9:00 am. (this also seemed like years)
Around 7:30 i felt sober except when i stood up then i felt drunk. As the morning grew on our conversation slowly became normal again. And about 9am a passed out.

All in all it was a great experince. I had an awesome time hanging out with my friend and just enjoyed the whole thing. My friend decided this would be a new monthly adventure for him. However i felt that my body had taken a big hit, i was just really worn out after the whole experince. So I concluded i would only do it on occasion, not that i didnt enjoy it I really did just wore me out. The feeling you get out of it is extrodainary, you really feel like youve accomplished a lot. And Just a good connection with the person you did it with, really weird. So yeah thats my story....if any one could tell me if that sounds about normal plz let me know. Also is 10oz for a guy my size too much? or not enough? just wondering for an approx dose next time. Oher then that I hope this helps others understand what its like before they experiment.

Oh yeah, one other thing VIcks 44 maybe a bit cheaper but Tussin goes down MUCH easier! Tussin isnt nearly as thick, so yeah I recomend that. :D

sounds fun, and yeah tussin is easier to swallow than vicks, and it has more dxm in it.

10oz for you wouldn't be TOO much, it would come out to just under 1,000mg DXM, which is a very large dose, but no where near too much for someone your size.

oh! also a couple questions
1: what would you recomend for a dose for someone 6'3 235?
2: I became very itchy, is this a norm side effect?
3: does DXM cause you to fail drug tests?

i dont think dxm is in normal drug tests, and a dose for the other guy could be probably the same as urs there aint that big of a difference. and the itching dont worry bout that its all good.

1 proberbly one 8 oz. of tussin, which is 700mg. you can go higher but i woudnt exceed 2000mg. because you meet the lethal dose around that high, so just gradually work up to higher doses.
2 itchyness is called, no lie, robo-itch, and its completly normal
3 occasionally dxm can cause a false-positive for pcp on drug tests.

1. What juggalo420 said, he knows his DXM
2. Yeah, that shit hit me to for about 20 minutes it sucked but hey.. you have to look at the overall high, mine was awesome, and they 20 minutes of itch can't take away from the 4 hours of awesomeness
3. Again juggalo420 knows, it shows up as PCP some times...

Also, you said that you probably wouldn't want to do it all the time because it wore you out... not to try to make you do it or anything, but the reason why it felt like to took so much out of you is probably because you did it so late... it I were you I would do it like I did and drink it around 6 p.m. or so that that why you are fucked up from around 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. and you can sleep at a regular hour.

I ask this because when I was in the presence of family or talking to other ppl online I could control the high and act totally sober and at the same time I could trip when ever I wanted. depends on the dose for me, when i take 1000mg+ i lose much control, i babble on about nothing and do things you dont remember why you started in the first place, on high doses of dxm i would not go out side with out a sober friend, or talk to people like parents or anyone else who thinks you dont do drugs because you will start talking about crazy ass shit and you really cant control it. As for lower doses like 500mg. or below i can handle myself good i can talk to people without letting on im tripping, and go outside by myself without fear of doing something dumb(if you go outside DONT DRIVE).
