nondisjunction a positive?

Hello everyone,
This is my first post in this forum. I used to be an active supporter of overgrow and CW, but apparently, they went under. But anyways, I have a genetics theory that maybe someone can help me understand the negative side effects of such an idea(or if it will even work). I have recently discovered that strawberries (as well as many other fruits) have been genetically enhanced by altering the number of autosomes. A wild strawberry is typically no bigger than they size of your pinky. But a genetically altered strawberry can grow to be larger than a golf ball. They are also sterile, so that the seeds dont get very big (think of a seedless water melon). instead of a typical diploid with 2n, the enhanced polyploid strawberry is 8n, thus 4 times the regular DNA and genes.
Now, here is how it is done from the best of my knowledge (if someone could please help me fill in the blanks, maybe stinkyattic since you probably know what i am talking about). An agent is applied to a female plant about 3 weeks into flowering. This causes the miotic spindles to dissolve, preventing seperation sister cromatids. At this point, the female flowers will have 2x the amount of DNA. treatment is applied for about a week and the female is then pollinated by a male. Through out the grow, this agent will probably need to be applied repeatadly to enssure that most of your seeds are polyploids. After you harvest your seeds, plant them. If every thing went well, the new seeds should be polyploids.
The possible benefits of this procedure is increased bud size, and less likely, increased THC levels. Another benefit that is possible is sterile plants. No more having to worry if a unnoticed male or hermie will polinate your plants. another possibilty is a higher percentage of female rate (maybe even feminized)
As for the negative, the possibilty is a decrease in THC levels (not real sure if this will happen though..) And a possibilty of an increased hermie rate (not really as big as a deal since plants will be sterile and probably just as potent)
