Is eating leaves in cakes bad?

i have a big bag of leaves that arnt smokable, but ive been told to bake them in a cake, so the other day there i was just about to make a weed cake and my mum tells me that if i eat them i will be ill because its lots of plant material that the body cant digest, i said no i dont think they would, but i may be wrong and now i have got concerned as to whether it would?

any help? will this make me ill?

Can you eat lettuce without getting sick? Humans can do very little with most plants we eat. The leaves will break down in your stomach acid and will pass though you intestines and you will crap them out.
