Woops...busted..58 in a 45.
This is about my 4th or 6th in my life time..been driving for about 4 years.
The last time I was pulled over I had a pipe and was nervous as hell and the cop could tell..and pulled me out and started talking to me.
This time I had a open beer can...Yeah stupid huh..but this time I played cool and just got the ticket.
$175.00, Could be worse..
Any tickets for you lately?
yup, as a matter of fact I went to the Municipal Bldg today to pay a tkt I got in April. $179 for 60 in a 45. I am a safe driver but I do like to get where Im going right effin now so I tend to get tickets every now and again. I figure if I get one a year then it means that for about $200 I can drive as fast as I want. If I look at it like that it doesn't hurt so bad to pay the fine, ya know.
i got pulled over today for expired inspection sticker and when i showed him my insurance and he looked he said it ain't effective yet. i replied with a kind "I know officer, but the other one is shredded at home in the circular file." Luckily i'm gonna be able to get those removed and just pay $10 for each so $20 total for what could've been a $200+ stop. Funny part of this was i was on my way home from the donut store lol. should've offered him a donut :D
oh and i've gotta quit jynxing myself. i've been talking about getting a diff car if i get a job and the day i had gone and applied at a few places, one of the hoses blows and all the antifreeze is gone. i had a final exam that day and couldn't go to it:mad:
and just this past weekend my dad and i were talkin and i mentioned how a lot of people my age (18-20ish) have had lot a tickets and i haven't even gotten pulled over. well whatta ya know that changed today:wtf:
my girlfriend got a seatbelt ticket not too long ago, but i forgot the cost.
i on the other hand have never even been pulled over, knock on wood. :cool:
heh i said the same thing myself, look what happend. in not even a mile round trip drive to and from the donut store i got pulled over for expired inspection and got nailed with no liable insurance (my car is insured, just didn't have the old card i had the new one)Quote:

The trick is not trying to show your nervousness because cops feed on that and they're like "oh ya now I'm gonna get that big bust and a promotion!" Its an incentive for cops when you show that you are scared. This leads to unnecessary and unconstitutional searches and seizures.Quote:
