SO I got caught with weed at school and today i had to go and see if i got expelled. I did get expelled now they told me most if not all schools will not except me because of this. I wanted to scream they were acting like weed was as bad as crack saying a bunch of bullshit and now im 16 and im done with high school. Now i don't know where to go with my life now. All because i like to smoke. Sorry im just ranting
Private School, adult ed. Sure its not the greatest, but atleast you can get into Community College. How'd you get caught?
Same exact thing happened to me last week except it was because I had to take a drug test.
i got caught cause i wasn idiot and brought weed to school and sum1 ratted ne out and i wanna go to a private school but the principal at this school said none wood except me cause i was expelled out of here
GED, it still counts plus, you don't have to put up with all that bullshit about weed. Are your parents pissed, or do they think the school overreacted?
I think thats awful hun but weed didn't get you in trouble YOU were the one who brought weed to school. But I do feel for ya. Thats gonna put a damper on your life now
Yes my parent are pissed and very sad they keep saying u ruined your life your going to miss out on so much And yes How old do you have to be to take the GED. And if i get my GED can my parents give me shit about moving out
I think you can take your GED when you are around 17 but, I am not exactly sure. Once you have graduated (or gotten your GED) and you can support yourself, your parents can't really do anything about it but, you have to be able to BE responsible to live on your own. It is harder than you think.

But it is not the end of the world! Get your GED, go to a community college and get your AA degree! Employers will respect a good GPA from college rather than your "youthful indiscretion" that got you kicked out in the first place. My son has a GED, was home-schooled for grades 10-12, went to the local community college for 2 years and now is the computer tech at a local school.
Private schools WILL take you- if you have the buck$. Or should I say, if your parents have the $. (You should hear about the behavior of some of the kids at our local private school! As a tutor/teacher's aide- I hear it all!) Unless you're upper middle-class or better, I think the GED route is a better way to go. You will be done with the high school scene, and in college before your peers. (they may even think you're some sort of "brain", going to college so early-lol)
What you do with this disaster/opportunity, is up to you! You can just waste the rest of your life just getting stoned, going from one "McJob" to another, or you can make something special of yourself (and still get stoned:jointsmile: ). It's all up to you!- Granny:hippy:
