100% guaranteed females? assuming these are genetically modifed, how much difference wud there really be? say if u have the same strain of plant, germinated 5 seeds to get 1 female and planted one 'guaranteed' female. grew them for the same time in the same conditions etc etc. how much difference do you think wud be between the plants because of being genetically modified? anyone tried or tested this?
also, if i germinated 10 seeds is there an average of how many will be females? obviously you'd be very lucky to get all 10 to sprout, but there must be a way to rough estimate the ammount of females through peoples experience? etc? or is it jus purely a case of luck to how many you get?

Well it is important to understand how femenized seeds are produced, the bottom line is if the mother plant of the seeds was a crappy strain it will be crap, if the mother was good then it will be good. the mother's traits show more than the male plants. now femenized seeds are produced by crossing a female, with a female plant that has been stressed male ( whether it be with lighting or giberallic acid solution sprayed on). What happens here is that XX chromosomes will be crossed with another pair of XX chromosomes. So if you remember biology punnett sqaures there is a 0% probability of male plants. You see most seed banks will mention seeds are 99.9% and that .1% is due to environmental variables ( stress ) But just because they are femenized does not mean they will be better necessarily. it all has to do with what traits were passed on from the mother plant.

also some things that will help increase female ratios: eliminate all stress ( unbalanced pH, heat stress, cramped roots) , higher levels of nitrogen, but in the end it could just come down to probability and if the father plant was a male to begin with crossed with a female then you essentially have a 50/50 chance.
