ANTS****
anyone please i dont know what to do about it..
ants no problem
if you see damage to the plants that's when you worry.
Do not bring plants in from outside ever without quarantining them to check for pests. Put the plant in your bathroom and set off a bug bomb if it's big, or in a box and hose it with pyrethrin if it isn't.
Why would you bring a plant inside anyway, unless you expect a frost?
thanks! it was givin to me and i cant really do anything outside but now i got little ants i kill them when i see em there not everywhere.....i just heard they will get in the nugs and fuck em up
yes any sort of insect becomes a problem around flowering time. The only risk associated directly with carpenter ants is their nests will damage root structures. This is more a problem you would find in an outdoor grow, because full ant nests can sometimes span some 10 feet underground. As long as you don't see ants making colonies in your pot and pouring out of the soil you have no reason to believe they have damaged your roots. Your method of extermination sounds slow, but if there is no queen there will not be any more ants reproduced. Good luck, and Jah Bless
so if there was a colony it would be obvious? like i see at most 3 at once usually its just one or two runnin aroind...
