so im watching fox news and the US drug czar comes on and says that THC levels in pot have risen from 4% in the 80's to 30% present day and that means that its much more dangerous....

he went on to give bullshit facts to convince the weaker minded viewers...

1. more teens get checked in for marijuana depency treatment than any other drug including alcohol... (I dont see the problem, they shouldnt even receive "treatment" for "cannabis dependancy")

2. ER checkins for marijuana have risen from 40,000 per year to 105,000 per year.... (Ofcourse... dumb first timers are getting way too stoned and dont know how to handle it... you could almost call that standard procedure... ive seen it happen so many times and i never took anyone to the ER.)

3.... i dont remeber anymore... smoked a whole bag to the face...:stoned:

pff what a piece of shit, i read the government shit about that, and the average is at 8% now but there was a specimen or what you might call it in Oregon that was at 33%. gotta love how they spin the facts.

The ones in the "treatment" are probably only there because it was either that or jail.

Thats the only reason I went...

As I mentioned in an earlier post somewhere on the boards, when people come to the ER, we ask about recreation drug use, some say marijuana, others say other drugs- it is NOT their reason for coming in, but we mark it in our files with 'substance abuse.'

Ironically, about a good 40% of ER visits are people seeking FDA-regulated LEGAL opiate painkillers... Makes you think of who's getting the most out of this drug war :wtf:
