am i doing this correct.....week old seedlngs

Hey guys. First time tryin here, i have four plants all about a week old at this piont. they're about 2.5" high, which seemed kind of stringy to me. Im going to provide some pictures if i ever get a chance...and hopfulsy start a log soon.


Anyway, im forced to use this 22w CFL right now on the seeds. it is a 6500k light, so at least its getting sunlight-light for now. Tomorrow i have a 150w hps showing up...my plan is to weed these four plants down to two once they get a good size. hopefully by then you can all help me pick the best two.

anyway i've water'd them twice since they sprouted and i think thats too much becuase half the plants are a bit droopy, the stems seem to be strong so far though....not falling over at least.

Side question: any way to help predict sex? i know the only sure way is during flowering. this is a problem i will have to deal with eventually seeing how i have 4 plants but the 16000 lumens will only really be okay for 2 plants...which will probably turn to 1 after sexing.
