so after about a good 2 hours...

of fidling around with diffrent ideas and ways... i finally got it..


started off from an old bong idea of mine (http://boards.cannabis.com/recreatio...bong-idea.html) decided i wanted to spruce up my steam roller.... so i got to fiddling..i knew i wanted to have the same kick your ass ammount of smoke from a steam roller, but i wanted it water filtered so it'd be a bit smoother.... (i will post up pics tommorow btw)


basicly, i took my steam rolller, i think it's about a foot and a half now? it's a metal attatchment to an old vacuum cleaner... it had a hole in it earlier, but i made it bigger... i used a glass bowl/stem i had bought for an old glass bong that was a bit too big for it... expanded the hole so it could fitat an angle kinda like a v.... hard to describe...


then took a peice of cardboard from a box (like cigarette carton) about 6 inches ong and 4 inches wide... and wraped it tightly, but still just a big of slack around the stem of the glass bowl. super glued it all up so it wouldn't come apart, it would esientally become one solid cardboard tube. then i used a hose from an old acrylic bong i had (i tas my brothers, had four hoses orginially... they're a big bigger around then a cigarette... they're good sized) and attatched that firmly and tightly onto the cardboard tube.... the tube/cardboard tube became the slide.... i now placed that (with the hose hanging out the side your hand would be on on a normal steam rolled into the hole i made earlier, pushed it in really tightly, put some high temp epoxxy (hot glue would work fine, there's gonna be no heat here really... i just lik ea good seal) and gave it a godo coating of electrical tape.... next came the 'water chamber'.... B and J wine cooler bottles... work perfectly for my situation... fill it half way with water, stick the tube in it, stick the neck of the bottle inside the steam roller, and tape it there....and there you go... when you suck by physics the air is obviously going to come from where it can... the only place for that to come from is bowl... so it fills with smoke... then you pull the bowl out (as i said the cardboard and tube become a slide.)

everyone told me my idea wouldn't work, but i have just proved it will... it's the same concept just a diffrent design.

Sounds very unique. I'm all for new smoking tools, can't wait to see the pictures of it. Either way, great idea, how smooth are the hits?

they're smooth, but it ain't like smoking from a water fall.. it is a steam roller after all... it's just designed to be filtered with the water (which actually gives it an even bigger chamber to clear)


see people... just because people have the money to do so, and are old enough, doesn't mean they soley wanna buy some sick glass... investing some time in something before smoke it makes you feel good... but when it works like a charm it makes you feel invincible :D

and yeah i'll def post the pics, i just can't tonight cuz the wife is sleeping...
