I have qustion. but not a grow qustion. um k.
I have been growing for about 5 years now and learning how to grow for about 6 years.
and most of my grows went well but a few of my grows went a little hawire but they all did good in the end. and gave me free smoke
all of my 10 grows over the 5 years have been all female. and all bagseed.
I have never gotten a male bagseed plant.
so I ask you other growers. Is that just good luck or whatever.
I mean to never get a male plant in your garden or a male seed in the swagg you"d buy over the years. it just seems kind of wierd to me.
gimmy your thoughs on this.

what to send some of that luck my way

That's not too surprising; I mean, especially if all your bags were coming from the same source... obviously your grower had a problem with hermaphrodites. Herm pollen leads to female seeds.
But remember this is not a positive thing... if you give your plants the same conditions, you'll get herms too.

I've heard some people claim they can make their plants go female 100% of the time by using specific techniques early in the plants life, like reburrying the stem etc... I don't know if this is true or not though.

V-Diddy, there are some environmental factors that are known to help contribute to femaleness... light spectrum, moisture in the seedbed, temperature, photoperiod, and ratio of N to P in the soil. This stuff is all documented somewhere or other. However there's a certain aura of voodoodoo IMHO and the best thing is to reduce stress as much as possible!

and all 10 of my grows. there buds didn't have any seeds in them.
and the my weed source had good bud for me. and the sacks I would buy only had like 3 maybe 4 seeds on a half an ounce of bud.
so I saved the seeds and so one day I could grow them.
thanks for youe good opinions.

Yes, that's correct.
Now get back to studying us so that one day, when you are like 80, you will see the light.
:D

I have to agree with stinky here...I believe that most bagseed would be hernie prone, and with proper stress-less techniques could pretty much always turn out to be female. A little lucky though.
'I have discussed this many times. In fact I just posted a small thread on how to achieve a higher % of females the other day.
In closing, I would say you have developed good stress-less grow techniques or you would've had males. Peace
